These terms form a legally binding agreement between Users (“User(s), you, your, customer(s), yourself”) and Ahuja Homestays (“we, us, our”). These terms govern the use of our website, call centers, and other digital platforms (collectively referred to as “Ahuja Homestays Platform”) that enable users to connect with us in relation to the services offered through the platform (“Services”).

Please read these terms carefully before accessing, using, obtaining, or availing any products or services by Ahuja Homestays. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, you may refrain from using the Ahuja Homestays Platform and/or services. These conditions must be read in conjunction with any other applicable terms governing the use of our platform and services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time at our sole discretion. It will be your responsibility to keep yourself updated with these terms from time to time, and your continued usage of the Ahuja Homestays Platform and services will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and modifications.

1. Scope of Services

Ahuja Homestays markets and offers homestay services at properties owned as per agreed terms. Through our platform, users can avail themselves of homestay services under different categories, including but not limited to:

  • Luxury Homestays
  • Budget Homestays
  • Short-Term Rentals
  • Long-Term Stays

Our platform enables users to browse, select, and book accommodations as per their requirements.

2. Eligibility to Use

Users must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally capable of entering into a contract. Minors under the age of 18 may use the platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to terminate access if a user is found to be underage.

3. Account Registration and Use

To avail of certain services, users may be required to create an account on the Ahuja Homestays Platform. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and shall be solely responsible for all activities occurring under their account.

Users agree to:

  • Immediately notify Ahuja Homestays of any unauthorized use of their account.
  • Log out from their account after each session.
  • Ensure account information provided is accurate and up-to-date.

Ahuja Homestays is not responsible for any unauthorized access resulting from user negligence.

4. Services Provided by Ahuja Homestays

Our primary responsibility is to provide a comfortable and seamless stay experience. We facilitate booking services and ensure that homestay owners meet the required hospitality standards.

  • Free Wi-Fi

5. Term & Termination

Users may opt out of using the Ahuja Homestays Platform at any time. We reserve the right to unilaterally terminate access without notice if users breach these terms.

6. Terms Specifically Applicable to Customers

a. Booking and Payment

  • Full payment must be made before check-in.
  • Prices displayed are final and inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • Payments can be made via UPI, bank transfers, credit/debit cards, or online payment gateways.

b. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 7 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in may be subject to deductions.
  • No refund is applicable for no-shows or early check-outs.

7. Usage Terms

Users shall not:

  • Damage furniture, fixtures, or any property.
  • Engage in disruptive behavior that disturbs the neighborhood.
  • Bring pets (unless explicitly allowed).
  • Consume liquor without prior permission from authorities and the host.
  • Use the premises for unlawful activities.

Guests will be charged for any damages, breakages, or stained linens.

8. Prohibited Content

Users shall not upload or share:

  • False, inaccurate, or misleading information.
  • Offensive, defamatory, or unlawful content.
  • Malicious software (viruses, trojans, spyware, etc.).

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or legal action.

9. Communications

By using our platform, users consent to receiving communications via email, SMS, or phone calls regarding bookings, promotions, and important updates.

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. Ahuja Homestays does not control or endorse these websites and is not responsible for their content or policies.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Ahuja Homestays Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by or licensed to Ahuja Homestays and protected under intellectual property laws.

12. Privacy

User data is collected and processed as per our Privacy Policy. We do not share personal data with third parties except when required by law.

13. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify Ahuja Homestays against claims, damages, and liabilities arising from any misuse of the platform or non-compliance with these terms.

14. No Warranty

Ahuja Homestays provides services on an “as is” basis without any warranties. We are not responsible for losses arising due to force majeure events.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by Indian law, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Punjab, India].
